The Pell Grant? $7,395.
The Price of CT? $6,895.
That’s it. No catch.
What is FAFSA?
FAFSA (fafsa.gov) is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, which is run by the U.S. Department of Education. You renew the FAFSA every year that you are in school so that you can receive the Pell Grant, free grant money to go to college that the government allocates to you based on your income.
We’re here for you.
The maximum Pell Grant for 2023/2024 is $7,395. How much you get in Pell is based on a number called the EFC or Expected Family Contribution, which is essentially how much $ the government thinks you can pay for college. Your Learning Coach can help you figure out your EFC — as well as all things FAFSA!
Focus on your goals.
The total price of CT per year is set at the maximum Pell Grant. So this year it’s $6,895. That’s it. There are no textbook fees, technology fees, registration fees, or anything fees. That’s the whole annual cost. We want you to be able to focus on your courses, your goals, and yourself — not bills, loans, or huge costs!
